What Are We Looking For?

A Maintenance Manager for our Spokane Valley, WA facility. This position is responsible for oversight and management of facility projects, research and development and ensures facility operations meet department and customer needs. This role supports and adheres to the Company’s Standard of  Conduct and Discipline.

  The pay for this role is $28+/hour. The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday 6am-5pm.

What Does This Position Entail?

To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidate will-

1. Supervises, trains, tasks, and motivates crew members and leads team which includes: 

a. Notifies employees of any policy changes. 

b. Coaches employees to improve skills 

c. Performs quality control checks.

d. Analyzes business needs and decides on shift/department labor; shortened shifts or overtime.  

e. Delegates and assigns tasks to meet business needs through our asset management software. 

f. Documents, reports, and delivers disciplinary issues to allow accurate and timely documentation. 

4. Tracks and reports on projects and work orders through our asset and project management software  programs. Keeping precise records of work carried out, materials utilized, and related costs. 

6. Submits requests for use of 3rd party contractors as needed based on labor availability, scheduled  completion requirements, available labor competency, and permitting requirements  

7. Ensure clean-up of parking lots, ditches, streets, alleys, and walkways around the facility. 

10. Supports other workers in diverse repair and maintenance work and is responsible for maintaining preventive maintenance processes. 

11. Oversees the cuts, fits and repairs PVC, ABS and PEX water lines and cuts, fits and assembles non-welded  steel parts. 

13. Ensures general maintenance of all facility equipment is conducted in accordance with manufacturer  recommendations or internal company policies and procedures. 

14. Oversees the sterilization and sanitization of grow rooms and fertigation lines.  

15. Responsible for the process of collecting and destructing green waste Per state requirements. Also ensures  that destruction is reported per state law requirements.  

16. Oversees and executes the completion of maintaining grow room filter replacements, the cleaning of other  facility-related air filters, and HVAC system filters is conducted on a scheduled basis or as needed. 

17. Oversees general sanitation throughout the facility including bathrooms, kitchen, and break rooms. 

19. Performs basic carpentry and framing work using conventional methods. 

20. Carries out emergency fixes on equipment and facilities as necessary. 

22. Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned. 

Job Qualifications 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications  are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job. 

• Must be 21 years old or older 

Education/Experience: to perform this job successfully, an individual must have: 

• High School Diploma or a General Education Degree. 

• Two (2) years of maintenance, construction, or general labor management experience. 

• Proficient in G Suite and Microsoft Office - specifically Word and Excel. 

• Previous direct management experience of 10+ employees required
